On Sunday I called 111 at 1605 due to a suspected ear infection, very helpful adviser, I then received call back from a Doctor by 1620, and was asked to go to the out of hours service at Grantham hospital, I was seen at 1650 and given a prescription. excellent service.

Have used this service twice, received a call back on first occasion with an out of hours appointment with on call doctor at Stamford hospital. I was seen within the hour. Can’t ask better than that
Second occasion I had a fall, got concussion and was very dazed, sent an ambulance. The ambulance took two and half hours to arrive, but can’t complain about that as I guess it was not life threatening condition.
The ambulance people were great they took me to A&E in Peterborough.

Would recommend to others. They called back straight away and they made an appointment to be seen at the hospital within three hours. Child had high temperature and rash, diagnosed with Scarlet Fever

Took 5 calls to finally obtain prescription for IV for my mother. First call Friday night, finally obtained Sunday pm. Phoned on mother's behalf and asked every time to phone me back not her. Did not happen and then fax was sent to chemist which was closed for weekend. Finally faxed to ASDA on Sunday

111 should have made appointment at Johnson Hospital for my son, he was very ill. They did not and I had to fill in a form on arrival which was not nice as he was so ill with infected tonsillitis.

we contacted 111 over the weekend regarding toothache from treatment 2 days prior. we were told that no dentist was available in the whole of Lincolnshire on the sunday. by trolling the internet we found an available dentist open on the sunday. why did 111 not know this. we were told by a&e that 2 dentists in boston take it in turns to cover weekends. again why did 111 not know this?
