Experience of Stamford surpassed that of many other hospitals attended. Carer (wife) of Dementia patient. Would be willing to be contacted as much background information would be useful re. hospital, care home etc.

5/5

Helpful friendly service, good explanation given by service provider. Questions answered clearly and thoroughly with a good understanding of the medical condition.

Only disappointment being that i have not been informed of the result of an MRI scan which had been conducted over 1 month ago, this is now being chased up.

5/5

Everything within the hospital is excellent apart from waiting times. I was waiting an hour after my appointment time to be seen.

I like Stamford hospital because when I'm ill etc the staff are always friendly and a welcoming atmosphere and they always do their best by me.

It would be helpful if we could have a Health Service between 5pm on a Friday and 8.30am on a Monday. At present we have no GP surgery or call out service at the weekend, no locum service, no minor injuries service no A&E service. I dread the thought of falling ill or having an accident at the weekend. God help us! The NHS can't.

The service provided was prompt and both the nurse and doctor gave me clear feedback and explanation of their reccomendations.

Pain management ward 10- fantastic advise on pain management

5/5

All staff at Stamford are pleasant and helpful. Medical and nursing staff keep one informed regarding investigations and discuss fully outcomes and proposed treatment.
Being a small local hospital, it has the personal touch yet provides a wide variety of services.
As well as my eye appointment- I came here for a chest x-ray and ultrasound.

Every time I go to Stamford Hospital, which is not often, I have thought it to be excellent and can't find fault at all. The staff are caring and take the time to talk to you - one of the most valuable assets, in my view. They treat you with respect and care and the whole hospital gives out an air of calm and efficiency. I think they all do an excellent job. I wish more hospitals were like this! Thank you to everyone who works for and in the Stamford Hospital.

This service, clinic and staff are excellent. I had to wait 12 weeks for an appointment which is disappointing but worth the wait once you receive the acupuncture. I have explained this service to friends and family and am somewhat surprised lots of people have never heard of the acupuncture service at Stamford Hospital despite they have and are suffering back pain. Shame on GP's for not accessing the service, its amazing.

It isn't easy to comply with pleasing each and everyone but they are doing their best. None of us are perfect, so a little tolerant from each and everyone will be better. Let the professionals do their job as best they can.

I've been to Stamford a few times. The pain clinic was excellent, and generally the staff are pleasant and helpful. This is the opposite of my experiences at Peterborough where almost without exception I have been treated with disdain and disinterest, particularly by the nurses and PAM's.
