I attended for a Wellman health check on the afternoon December 2016. The appointment was not urgent and so I was able to book it online a couple of weeks in advance at a convenient time and date. The phlebotomist appointment was on time and she was caring and efficient in taking blood. The urine sample which had been requested in the invitation letter was also delivered at this time. A follow-up appointment was then made by reception for today, just 6 days after the samples were provided.

Once again, spot on time, the Practice Nurse, Angie Urquhart, called me in for routine measurements such as height, weight, blood pressure etc followed by feedback on these and results from the blood and urine samples. She was professional, knowledgeable and courteous throughout the half hour appointment. Well done to all involved at Welton Health Centre.

Unable to make appointment over the phone, have to queue in the surgery. Sometimes waiting up to one and a half hours to be seen

They have an open surgery which is a big plus. Difficult to get an appointment for something routine. All very good otherwise. Not easy to get through last thing in the morning on the phone

I was on official business at Health Lincs apartments in Welton, a specialist home for people with Learning Disability. Whilst I was there a GP dropped in unannounced, whilst she was passing, to check up on a couple of patients, one of she knew had been in hospital. Just thought this was a very considerate and caring thing to do that is not seen much these days

Following a routine blood test it was suspected I had diabetes The doctor said I needed another blood test to confirm the diagnosis. The length of time between doctors appointment, further blood test appointment and the final appointment with a very helpful nurse was in my opinion totally unacceptable. The GP was disinterested in listening to how I felt, and the fact that I felt unwell needed more attention. I would hope never to have to use that GP again.
The length of time waiting for a doctors appointment seems unacceptable. Cannot fault the nurse who eventually discussed the diagnosis but the length of time between appointments was ridiculous. Patient felt dismissed by Doctor.
