Our Steering Group | Healthwatch Lincolnshire

Our Chair, Liz Ball

Liz has spent much of her working life within the NHS. Commencing nurse training at Worksop and Mansfield School of Nursing, her career progressed from student nurse to the post of Chief Nurse in the Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) until her retirement in 2020.

She has worked in Lincolnshire since 2008 as General Manager for Lincolnshire Community Health Services (LCHS), as Deputy Chief Nurse at United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust (ULHT) and finally as Director of Nursing and Quality at South Lincolnshire CCG. Liz is passionate about patient care and aims to contribute this philosophy to Healthwatch Lincolnshire.

Steering Group Members

The Healthwatch Lincolnshire Steering Group plays a vital role in ensuring people in Lincolnshire are engaged, listened to, and provided with an avenue to tell us their views and opinions on health and social care. By people sharing their experiences with us, we can help people feel valued, and make sure their voices are heard and help shape health and social care services in Lincolnshire.

The Healthwatch Lincolnshire Steering Group is made up of individual volunteers with a passion for NHS and social care services and ensuring they meet the needs of local people.

Our Steering Group members are independent and impartial and listen to the issues that really matter to people in Lincolnshire.
