About this event
YourVoice@HWL is a public event and is open to both health and care professionals as well as residents of Lincolnshire. Come and ask questions of our Panel on the day and talk with a variety of service providers including community groups supporting people living with a stroke. There will be a market place where service providers and community groups will be available for you to have an informal chat.
If you or someone you care for has healthcare needs and lives at home – then a personal health budget may be of real interest to you.
Do you want to find out more about what a personal health budget (PHB) is? Do you want flexibility, freedom and more control in your care planning? Do you want to plan how this care is delivered? Do you want to have security and stability from being able to select your own Personal Assistants? Want to find out about your options to make the right choice for you? Do you know the difference between Notional Budget, Direct Payment or a Direct Payment Third Party Option?
Come along to this event and find out about Personal Health Budgets and how they might benefit you and your wellbeing. There will be a Panel with a working knowledge of Personal Budgets and an opportunity to meet some of the organisations that support patients when choosing a Personal Health Budget. All are welcome. Share your experiences of Personal Health Budgets and join us on 10 July 2019 from 10 am to 1 pm.
