Have Your Say - NHS priorities for the next five years | Healthwatch Lincolnshire

Healthwatch Lincolnshire will be running two webinars on 14th June 1-2pm and 5-6pm.

This webinar is for staff only, all comments and feedback will be treated anonymously

Join us  to have a conversation and opportunity to have your say on the NHS in Lincolnshire and what their priorities should be over the next 5 years.

NHS Joint Forward Plan (JFP)

The new joint forward plan for the NHS in Lincolnshire is being developed by all the local NHS organisations.

Purpose of the JFP is that it will:

  • set out the priority areas the NHS focus on
  • covers the next five years
  • give the people of Lincolnshire the best possible start in life, and they are supported to live, age and die well
  • not cover every single service provided by the NHS in Lincolnshire.

How the JFP was produced

  • It is the result of a lot of hard work by doctors, NHS staff, members of the public and others
  • We have involved our clinical leaders, staff, patient representatives and public from the start of the process
  • We have talked to people and communities back in February; and, worked with our local Healthwatch to run webinars and a survey.
  • Based on what we knew and heard we drafted the priorities with partners and clinicians

What next

  • During June we will be speaking to people and communities across Lincolnshire to test the draft priorities
  • The final document will be produced and published at the end of June
  • We will continue to continuously shape, adapt and test our ideas with our staff and communities over the rest of the year.

These sessions will be run virtually through Zoom.
