Stroke

Healthwatch Lincolnshire (HWL) want to hear from members of the public who have recently had a stroke.  If you fit into anyone one of the above we want to talk to you. Are you the family carer of someone who meets these criteria? We want to hear from you too!

HWL recently carried out a public survey to help devise our priorities for the next year or two and a number of issues came out high on the list. These included dementia, strokes, home care/community nursing care and mental health. Whilst carers were not as high on the list we feel their input is valuable as they may impact all of the above areas.

Healthwatch Lincolnshire is the only independent consumer watchdog for Health and Social Care services in Lincolnshire.  We monitor and influence local health and social care provision through encouraging people to share their views about the services they use.

We use this information confidentially (no names or personal details are shared) to give feedback to the providers of these health and social care services as well as informing the commissioners (the people who pay for these services) with a view to influencing change and improvement.
