LINCOLNSHIRE PARTNERSHIP NHS FOUNDATION TRUST  would like to invite you to take part in a consultation group on:

Tuesday, 17th September 2019 (10am – 12noon) at The Showroom Conference Centre, YMCA Lincolnshire.

The seminar will be run by Dr Laura Venn from the East Midlands Research Design Service and, with your permission, issues discussed will be fed back to the national group and will help inform the national strategy.

In the session they will cover:

  1. Why service user involvement is important in social care research

  2. How service users and practitioners can be encouraged to take part in social care research

  3. What are the challenges associated with being involved in research and how can these be avoided/overcome in research design and planning

  4. What specialist support should the Research Design Service (RDS) offer to social care researchers, practitioners and service users

If you are able to join  please email lds14@leicester.ac.uk to secure your place. Places are limited and participants will be reimbursed for their time and mileage as per University of Lincoln policies.
