Healthwatch Lincolnshire response to COVID19

The government is asking people across the country to stay away from, pubs and clubs and stop all non-essential travel and social contact in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19.

The government is asking people across the country to stay away from, pubs and clubs and stop all non-essential travel and social contact in a bid to slow the spread of COVID-19.

We are cancelling all Healthwatch events for the next 4 weeks, we will continue to evaluate the situation as time goes on.

Our role

Our Information service will be running as normal and you will still be able to contact us by telephone, email or through our website. 

We will be:

  • Setting up a coronavirus Q & A signposting service – please contact us if you have any specific questions with regards to you or your loved ones.  Our Information Signposting Service will work with the right people and organisations to bring you the most up to date information.

  • Maintain an accessible office based telephone service between 9am and 3pm Monday – Thursday and 9am to 12noon Friday, with 24 hour answer machine service available outside of these hours, telephone 01205 820892

  • Whilst we are at present ceasing all face to face public contact through our volunteer engagement activities, talks, meetings and YourVoice@Healthwatch events, we are still dealing with  your health and care experiences on a daily basis.  Please continue to email these through to info@healthwatchlincolnshire.co.uk or visit our website page https://www.healthwatchlincolnshire.co.uk/have-your-say and use our online Have Your Say form.
  • To make sure we are striving to improve health, care and wellbeing services in Lincolnshire, our employees are still working 5 days a week.  Access to our employees can be through email, telephone, or even Skype.  This means we still can talk to, meet with and work with all of you, just in a slightly different way to how we usually do this.

We will be sharing information and advice through our website, social media and e-mail.

Our people

Our Healthwatch’s power is in it’s people. We will be keeping in regular contact with our volunteers and staff team to support them at this difficult time.

Our Management Team will be reviewing the situation on a daily basis. And we will update our information and advice on covid-19 as the situation develops.
