We're Hiring! Join The HWLincs Team
HWLincs is currently recruiting for a number of exciting roles and opportunities to join our team and help make a positive difference across Lincolnshire. If you are passionate about supporting communities, amplifying public voice, contributing to meaningful work, and influencing positive change for the benefit of people, we would love to hear from you.
New Life Conference Centre, Sleaford, NG34 7JP
Following the success of the 2025 VOICE Conference, HWLincs are bringing professionals and the public together again in May 2026. The day will begin around 9.30am with the release of the State of Health and Care in Lincolnshire findings and launch of the charity's new strategy. The day will run through to 2.30pm with workshops and presentations covering the VOICE PLEDGE that was developed last year, promotion of research taken place over the year and demonstrations of how partners have engaged with communities.
There will be chance to reflect on the importance of public voice in the 10-Year Health Plan and contribute to shaping what the future looks like for public voice and community engagement in Lincolnshire and beyond. Bookings will open shortly, watch out for the announcement and if you want to discuss this event or you would like us to include your work with public engagement please get in touch.
New Resources Now Live
We’ve recently developed a range of new resources as part of two HWLincs projects, designed to support people in accessing the right health and care services. Shaped by lived experience and community insight, these resources focus on supporting Armed Forces communities with mental health and wellbeing, and improving access to information and support for carers affected by cancer. Why independence matters when listening to patients
A new report from The King's Fund has taken a close look at what we can learn from the Healthwatch model. It comes at a significant moment, as the government prepares to wind down Healthwatch England and move the functions of local Healthwatch to Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Local Authorities across the country.
