Escalation report regarding Pain management services in Lincolnshire

For over 3 years Healthwatch Lincolnshire has received information which confirms Lincolnshire patients are not receiving treatment for cancers within the national recommended requirements.

Whilst we recognise the National and local directive to reduce the overall cost of prescribed medication and its subsequent wastage, Healthwatch Lincolnshire does not believe patients fully understand the options available to them.

Over the past 5 years, Healthwatch Lincolnshire has consistently received patient comments, relating to the difficulties they are experiencing getting an appointment to see a GP.

Access to NHS dentist services in Lincolnshire has been difficult for a long time. Access for people who live in a care home to NHS dentistry is even more of a challenge.
